On September 26, the City Express by Marriott Hotel became the epicenter of technology, design, and web innovation in Nicaragua.
It was an intense day packed with learning, hugs, coffee, and, above all, that unique sense of community that makes all the hard work worthwhile. The feedback from attendees warmed our hearts: hearing that the event was «nítido» (spot-on and flawless) and that it exceeded all expectations confirms that every single second of effort was worth it.
From logistics and attendee care to the food and the visual theme inspired by our beloved Managua, we built an experience designed by and for the community.

WordCamp Managua 2026 in numbers 📊
Behind every smile and talk, there are numbers that reflect the massive reach of this edition:
- 244 in-person attendees gathered on event day (out of 273 registered).
- 225 participants joined our pre-event activities and sessions.
- 60% of attendees experienced their very first WordCamp. Welcome to the family!
- We welcomed attendees from 11 cities across Nicaragua and 5 countries total.
- +700,000 views and over 51,000 interactions recorded from launch day on June 5 through event day across our livestreams, social media, and website.
- 30 learning activities in total, combining pre-events and the main conference day.
- 20 sponsors (local and international) who believed in this project and made it possible.

Beyond the numbers, what truly warms our hearts is everything that happened afterward: that incredible wave of reels, vlogs, photos, and spontaneous posts overflowing across social media. That genuine response is proof of the love for this community and the best possible «thank you» to every volunteer, speaker, sponsor, and organizer who poured their all into this celebration.
A multidisciplinary program for everyone 💡
Throughout the day, we ran two parallel tracks featuring 22 sessions in various formats; from hands-on workshops and lightning talks to panel discussions and standard presentations.
We covered the key topics driving today’s digital world:
- 🛠 Development
- 🎨 UX/UI Design
- 💼 Business & Entrepreneurship
- 📣 Content & Marketing
- 🤖 Artificial Intelligence
- 🤝 Community & Culture
Thank you to every speaker for sharing their knowledge so generously and clearly.

The heart of the event: The People 🤝
If one thing defined WordCamp Managua this year, it was the spirit of collaboration. Nearly 120 people raised their hands during our call to contribute as organizers, volunteers, or speakers.
The event was powered by a 10-person organizing team working tirelessly from March through September 26, alongside the indispensable support of 10 volunteers who gave 100% on event day to keep everything running seamlessly. To each and every one of you, infinite thanks!
